Art Exhibition “Cultural Diplomacy: Balkan Dialogues “14th of December, 2021, supported by Bulgarian Cultural Center in Skopje
“ Dobredojde” Macedonia Welcome Centre together with the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of North Macedonia and the Bulgarian Cultural Information Center in Skopje and Association for Culture IKON organized the exhibition “Cultural Diplomacy: Balkan Dialogues” on Tuesday 14 December, 2021
We had the rare opportunity to enjoy a selection of art works by artists from the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia, created during their participation in the art colony “Balkan Spirit” in Ohrid from 2007 to 2012, supported by the Association for Culture IKON. Presents the deep sacral and enlightenment heritage in Ohrid.
The town in Ohrid was an inspiration for the works of the Bulgarian artists Svetlin Rusev, Stanislav Pamukchiev, Ivaylo Mirchev, Ljuben Genov, Roman Kisyov, Dimitar Cholakov and Milko Boshov.
The artists from North Macedonia are Vladimir Georgievski, Dimitar Miladinov, Pavle Kuzmanovski, Reshat Ameti, Simon Semov and Petar Pochev.
The exhibition showed different interpretations of the artistic layers, set in the millennium heritage in Ohrid.
