Macedonian Rosés Part 2

My second batch of Macedonian rosé wines for the rather full monty of sun & rain days we’ve been having for the past week.

Stobi Allegro Rosé 2020, WCO Tikves Wine District
Dry rosé from Syrah variety with a lovely pale salmon color. Lovely, breezy, and rich in raspberry aromas. It is elegant & refreshing and lingers softly on the fruity palate. Chateau Sopot Serbez Rosé 2020, WCO Veles Wine District
Semi-dry rose’ wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon variety, from Chateau Sopot’s own vineyards located by the Vardar River, at an altitude of 230 m. Playful wine, rich in red and dark berry fruits, with notes of peony and ground red pepper. Beautiful and bold, just like the famous lady Serbez Donka, an inspiration for the well-known song with the same name. Imako Majestic Rosé 2020, Ovche-Pole Wine District
Dry rosé wine produced from Pinot Noir variety. It is characterized by salmon color and aromas of small red berry fruits of which raspberry and wild forest strawberry dominating. On the palate, it shows an abundance of crunchy red berry fruit such as red currants and young sour red cherries, all backboned by crisp acidity. Kamnik Sexy Rosé 2020, Skopje Wine District
Attractive pink colour rosé produced from  46% Sangiovese, 20% Montepulciano, 19% Arinarnoa and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. A dry medium-bodied wine showcasing forest strawberry on the nose, followed by a crisp palate rich in raspberries and lingering bonbon aftertaste. Tikves Alexandria Cuveé Rosé 2020, WCO Tikves Wine District
Dry rosé obtained from Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. Lovely pale salmon-colored wine, with stone fruits, peach, and raspberry aromas, moving seamlessly on the palate where zesty lemon and cherry flavors await us.
